Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy is for

This policy explains how the Lunel mobile application and the getlunel.app website handle information. “Lunel,” “we,” and “us” mean the independent developer identified as the seller on Lunel’s App Store listing. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to hello@getlunel.app.

2. What Lunel does not collect

Lunel has no user accounts, sign-up, social features, advertising or behavioral analytics. We do not collect a child’s name, email address, photographs, voice, precise location, contacts, drawings or touch activity. The app does not request access to the camera, microphone, photo library, contacts or location.

What happens during play stays in the moment. Trails, gestures and discoveries are rendered on the device and are not saved as a gameplay history or sent to us.

3. Information stored on the device

Lunel stores a small amount of information locally so it can remember how it should behave:

• whether the introduction has been completed
• the selected language and optional grown-up PIN
• the most recently visited world
• the daily play allowance and session state
• a cached indication that unlimited play has been unlocked

We do not receive this local information. It remains in the app’s storage and is removed when the app’s data is erased or the app is deleted, subject to any device backup and restoration features controlled by Apple and the device owner.

4. Purchases and RevenueCat

Apple processes the one-time in-app purchase for unlimited play, including payment details. We never receive card or bank details. Lunel uses RevenueCat to validate the purchase, restore it and keep the unlocked entitlement accurate, including after a refund.

For that purpose, the RevenueCat SDK may process:

• a randomly generated anonymous app user identifier
• purchase history, transaction status, receipt, and entitlement information
• technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, locale, and currency
• connection information such as request time and an IP-derived country. RevenueCat states that it drops the IP address after determining the country.

Lunel does not send RevenueCat a name, email address, advertising identifier or custom account identifier. We use this information only for app functionality, purchase validation, fraud prevention, restoration, and aggregate purchase reporting. It is not used for advertising or tracking across apps or websites.

5. Support messages

If a grown-up emails us, we receive the email address, message and any information they choose to include. We use it only to answer the request, troubleshoot Lunel or meet legal obligations. Please do not include information about a child that is not necessary for support.

6. This website

This website does not use analytics, advertising pixels, tracking technologies or cookies. Like nearly every website, its hosting provider may temporarily process basic server logs, such as an IP address, browser information, and request time, to deliver the site, prevent abuse and maintain security. We do not use those logs to profile visitors.

7. Children’s privacy

Lunel is made for young children, but it does not ask children to provide personal information. There is no chat, public posting, account creation or personalized advertising. Purchase controls and external links are reserved for the grown-up area behind a parental gate. The limited purchase processing described above supports a transaction initiated by a grown-up and is not used to build a profile of a child.

8. Retention and deletion

Local settings remain until they are changed, app data is erased or Lunel is deleted. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain support records and comply with law.

Apple and RevenueCat retain transaction and entitlement records according to their own policies and legal obligations. A grown-up may ask us to delete or help locate a RevenueCat record by emailing hello@getlunel.app. We may need the anonymous support identifier or transaction information to locate a record that is intentionally not tied to a name or email. Some transaction records may need to be retained for fraud prevention, accounting or legal compliance.

9. Legal bases and international processing

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, purchase data is processed to provide the unlock requested by the grown-up and to protect transactions from fraud. Support and essential website security are processed for our legitimate interests in answering families and operating Lunel safely. Information handled by Apple and RevenueCat may be processed in countries other than the one in which a family lives, using the safeguards described in their policies.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal information, and to complain to a local data-protection authority. Because Lunel does not have accounts and purchase identifiers are anonymous, we may need additional transaction details to verify and complete a request.

11. Changes to this policy

If Lunel’s information practices change, this page will be updated before the change takes effect and the date above will change. We will not quietly add advertising, child profiling or gameplay tracking.
